Lightening

Dangling from the balcony,
as a prey in spider web of life
with satiric cool breeze,
I was waiting for that octopus clasp.

Hypnotized empty mind
was loitering with delirious thoughts
of sucked hole of hell,
the dark cave of destiny.

Suddenly, thunderstorm came
with soothing rain and lightening,
Tearing the web of trap,
Freeing me from miseries.

With the rainbow in the sky,
thought of new beginning
with tearful laughof freedom,
for journey ahead.

Asked me ‘The Life’,
with enigmatic presence
and twinkling hopeful eyes,
“Would you care to dance with me?”
